SUMMARY:Eclipse Season Begins: Lunar Eclipse in Libra
DESCRIPTION:Since ancient times eclipses have been known to be catalyzers for major shifts in our lives. While many have heard about restricting certain foods\, looking versus not looking directly at the actual happening of the eclipse\, and other beliefs\, many have forgotten about the significance these events actually have within us. \nWe have solar eclipses and lunar eclipses. A solar eclipse happens during a New Moon (note not every New Moon comes with an eclipse). A lunar eclipse happens during a Full Moon (note not every Full Moon comes with an eclipse). An eclipse often brings the needed impulse to change direction in our lives. Because the eclipses work alongside the Nodes of the Moon (often referred to as the Nodes of Destiny) eclipses often come with karmic patterns needing to be released and/or focusing our path in a new direction for our ongoing soul evolution. \nEach one of us is currently experiencing an inner shift that while it may be difficult to explain in words is very palpable in our hearts. It is as if our hearts are beginning to get familiar with a new rhythm\, our internal selves shifting and rebalancing\, and our souls awaiting to sing its truth. \nThis way of living is our birth right however during the path of life we get distracted\, get used to living in autopilot\, too comfortable in our comfort zones\, and resist change due to unconscious fears. In consequence\, we are unable to listen to our higher self. \nWhen eclipses come by there seems to be a divine guidance that helps us eliminate what needs to be eliminated\, purge what needs to be purged out\, and awaken to what was previously asleep. Because eclipses activates so much within each of us in previously unexplored ways this also catapults a major growth collectively in humanity as well. \nI am excited to announce that I will be holding this astrological event at The Sweet Spot Yoga and Wellness here in Sonoma! It is important to note that eclipse energy can be felt a few days before the actual  happening and its effects continue on for months ahead. SUMMARY:Saturn & Pluto Retrograde 2022 : The Death of Our Old Structures
DESCRIPTION:We’ve all heard of Mercury retrograde periods; communication tends to get disrupted\, our technology can go haywire\, and our sense of expression can feel challenging. Note that some Mercury retrogrades can feel stronger than others depending on the overall astrological weather but one thing for sure is that during these weeks we feel as if we are somehow going “backwards”. In this case\, going backwards mentally since the planet Mercury is the planet of communication\, perception\, and expression. \nWhile Mercury retrograde periods usually have a bad reputation\, there is no such thing as bad or good for the cosmos. What we define as good or bad is simply something that us humans have labeled. Mercury retrograde can be a wonderful period to go inward and reflect\, inspire ourselves\, and make modifications to our existing thoughts and ideas! \nIn this same way\, other planets also have their retrograde cycles. SUMMARY:Nodes of the Moon in Taurus/Scorpio 2022: A New Sense of Value
DESCRIPTION:Each of us has felt the intense inner shift taking place this year\, 2022. It is as if we are all letting go and entering another dimension. This shift has been inspirational\, uplifting\, expansive\, and for some\, even scary. Note that anything that takes us out of the known and into the unknown may be felt as scary even if it is a wonderful place! With all the astrological movements happening right now each of us is being called to really step into another timeline of our life and begin to live our authentic soul contract that we signed up for this lifetime. That is\, instead of repeating the same patterns from our past that keeps us in the same place we are being offered the needed energy and belief in ourselves to create something different. \nOne of the many astrological movements that has shifted this year are the Lunar Nodes. \nThe Nodes of the Moon are not planets but rather two mathematical points in the sky (in your birth chart) where the orbit of the sun crosses the orbit of the moon. They are points that connect with the ecliptic. The North part of the ecliptic (where it crosses the North Node of the Moon) is a focal point that touches us very deeply; it is where a Spring-like energy awakens within us! Like the blooming of a beautiful flower\, something new bursts into life. All of a sudden we are filled with excitement to do something new. From an astrological point of view the Nodes of the Moon then represent our continuous unfolding evolution. \nIn relation with transits\, the South Node of the Moon represents our past\, our comfort zone\, the familiar\, our compulsive way of living. The North Node on the other hand represents the qualities that we are being called to develop so that we could grow\, expand\, and create our destiny. The North Node is like our North Star illuminating our way to unfold ourselves into what our soul came here to do. \nTo step out of the South Node and step into the North Node means stepping into a new unfamiliar territory. This naturally requires conscious effort\, persistence\, and courage. In this way\, we need to release something (South Node) and embrace a new exciting yet unfamiliar aspect within us (North Node). \nAs we enter 2022 we also step into new waters with the Nodes of the Moon. These have moved from the Gemini/Sagittarius axis and officially entered the Taurus/Scorpio axis on January 18th 2022. These new placements are activating within us a major desire for change that is in connection with these two zodiac signs. Since the Nodes of the Moon change signs about every 18 months\, this axis will be activated for all of 2022 and part of 2023! \nThis shift will not only be felt collectively but individually. Depending on where the Nodes are currently transiting your chart\, you will be called to grow in ways that you haven’t before. Old ways will never open new doors. SUMMARY:Embracing Endings: Eclipse Season 2021
DESCRIPTION:As we come to the finish line of 2021\, we look back and realize all that has changed within us and around us. Since 2020 all of us both collectively and individually have been experiencing a death of our old selves; our past beliefs\, habits\, self-image\, relationships\, work\, and more. We are together changing and transforming in resonance to the new unfolding energies here on Earth. \nEach one of us is therefore experiencing an inner shift that while it may be difficult to explain in words is extremely palpable in our hearts. It is as if our hearts are getting familiar with a new rhythm\, our internal selves rebalancing\, and our souls awaiting to sing its truth. \nThis genuine way of living is our birth right however\, during the path of life we get distracted\, we get used to living in autopilot\, we get too comfortable in our comfort zones\, resist change\, and get confused with all the noise from the outside world. In consequence\, we are unable to listen to our higher self. Deep down we know what we need to let go of\, what we truly want to do in our lives\, and what we genuinely desire to express. \nIt is however only a few of us that choose to make conscious changes in our lives because doing so requires us to walk into the unknown. SUMMARY:Full Moon in Aquarius 2021: Feeling the Freedom to Be Yourself!
DESCRIPTION:This Full Moon coming up on July 23rd or 24th (depending on where you are on planet Earth) is full of insights\, inspiration\, and transmutation of energies within us. As we remember the quote “As within\, So without” we will noticeably experience external events in our lives that correlate with this inner shift taking place. The Full Moon in Aquarius 2021 offers us not only a tremendous opportunity for healing but also for transformation of this healing energy into a profound power for our spiritual evolution. \nThis particular Full Moon will powerfully lighten up a particular area in our lives. Whatever area Luna touches in our personal birth chart\, it will inevitably touch those sensitive fibers within us that will lead us into a new path towards a more authentic life.
