Saturn & Pluto Retrograde 2022 : The Death of Our Old Structures

We’ve all heard of Mercury retrograde periods; communication tends to get disrupted, our technology can go haywire, and our sense of expression can feel challenging. Note that some Mercury retrogrades can feel stronger than others depending on the overall astrological weather but one thing for sure is that during these weeks we feel as if we are somehow going “backwards”. In this case, going backwards mentally since the planet Mercury is the planet of communication, perception, and expression.

While Mercury retrograde periods usually have a bad reputation, there is no such thing as bad or good for the cosmos. What we define as good or bad is simply something that us humans have labeled. Mercury retrograde can be a wonderful period to go inward and reflect, inspire ourselves, and make modifications to our existing thoughts and ideas!

In this same way, other planets also have their retrograde cycles. No, not to give us headaches and confusion but to have us reflect, go inward, edit, and release so that when these go direct again, we now move forward with a renewed mentality, energy, and purpose.

We currently have two major planets in retrograde; Saturn, the planet of discipline, foundations, maturation, and restrictions and Pluto, the planet of death and transformation. Both of these will continue their retrograde cycle until October 2022. During this time we are being asked to ponder on the teachings of these two planets and incorporate their lessons into our lives. Depending on our personal birth chart, both of these planets are visiting a particular house or arena of our lives activating us so that we grow and evolve. Time to make adjustments to our ever unfolding reality. Nothing after all is happening without a divine reason!

• What does Pluto represent?
• What are the lessons that Pluto is offering me personally?
• Where am I being asked to make adjustments and revisions in my life?
• What emotions, fears, or insecurities can arise when doing this Saturnian and Plutonian work?
• How can I embrace this available energy as an opportunity for my healing, growth, and transformation?
• How can I feel if I resist the teachings of these master planets?
