Eclipse Season Begins: Lunar Eclipse in Libra

Since ancient times eclipses have been known to be catalyzers for major shifts in our lives. While many have heard about restricting certain foods, looking versus not looking directly at the eclipse, many have forgotten about the significance these events actually bring.

We have solar eclipses and lunar eclipses. A solar eclipse happens during a New Moon (not every New Moon comes with an eclipse). A lunar eclipse happens during a Full Moon (not every Full Moon comes with an eclipse). An eclipse often brings the needed impulse to change direction in our lives. Because the eclipses work alongside the Nodes of the Moon referred to as the Nodes of Destiny, eclipses often come with karmic patterns or stories being released which allows the natural flow of opening our path in fresh new ways.

Each one of us is currently experiencing an inner shift and while it may be difficult to explain in words it is very palpable in our hearts. It is as if our hearts are beginning to get familiar with a new rhythm, our internal selves shifting and rebalancing, and our souls awaiting to sing its truth.

However during the path of life we live in constant distraction, get used to living in autopilot, too comfortable in our comfort zones, and resist change. In consequence, we are unable to listen to our higher self.

When eclipses come by there seems to be a divine guidance that helps us eliminate what needs to be eliminated, purge what needs to be purged out, and awaken to what was previously asleep. Because eclipses activates so much within each of us in previously unexplored ways this also catapults a major growth collectively in humanity as well.

I am excited to announce that I will be holding this astrological event at The Sweet Spot Yoga and Wellness here in Sonoma! I am overly grateful to Sheila Martin for the invitation to collaborate at this beautiful location she has created for our community.

We will learn in detail about what eclipses mean and focus specifically on the first upcoming eclipse this year, Lunar Eclipse on March 25th. It is important to note that eclipse energy can be felt a few days before the actual  happening and its effects continue on for months ahead. We will be talking about this astrological topic followed by individual readings. That is right! This eclipse touches a specific area of you/your life where you are being divinely invited to look at and act on what is due for your ongoing evolution. Connecting and flowing with this will help you apply this intense energy in the most conscious way. To end our morning we will be connecting with our inner self through a silent meditation and optional journaling.

In this gathering we will discuss the following:

• What are eclipses and how do they affect us energetically here in our experience on Earth?
• What is the difference between a solar eclipse and a lunar eclipse? How does the zodiac sign AND degree that it falls under affects YOU personally?
• What is the evolutionary intention behind an eclipse?
• How can we mentally and emotionally prepare ourselves for such event?
