Saturn & Pluto Retrograde 2022 : The Crumbling of Old Structures

We’ve all heard of Mercury retrograde periods- communication tends to get disrupted, technology can go haywire, and our overall perception can feel a bit confusing and challenging.  Note that some Mercury retrogrades can feel stronger than others depending on the overall astrological weather but regardless it is a period “going backwards”. That is, a period of going to the past in some way and therefore a period of reflection, evaluation, modification.

While Mercury retrograde periods usually have a bad reputation, there is no such thing as bad or good for the cosmos. What we define as good or bad is simply something that us humans label. Mercury retrograde can be a wonderful period to go inward and reflect, inspire ourselves, and make modifications to our existing perception! Let us remember that perception is based on thoughts, ideas, memories that have been held and believed as real when it is merely an illusion.

Other planets also have their retrograde cycles. These retrograde periods allow us to naturally go inward and release what needs to be released so that when these planets go direct again, we now move forward with a renewed perception.

We currently have two major planets in retrograde; Saturn, the planet of discipline, foundations, structures, restrictions and Pluto, the planet of death and rebirth. Both of these will continue their retrograde cycle until October 2022. During this time we are being asked to ponder on the teachings of these two planets and incorporate their lessons into our lives. Depending on our personal birth chart, both of these planets are visiting a particular house or arena of our lives. Time to make adjustments to our ever unfolding reality. Nothing after all is happening without a divine reason!

• What are the lessons that Pluto is offering me personally?
• Where am I being asked to make adjustments and revisions in my life?
• What emotions, fears, or insecurities can arise when doing this Saturnian and Plutonian work?
• How can I embrace this available energy as wonderful windows of opportunity for transformation?
• How can I feel if I resist the teachings of these master planets?
