Nodes of the Moon in Taurus/Scorpio 2022: A New Sense of Value

Each of us has felt the intense inner shift taking place this year, 2022. It is as if we are all letting go and entering another dimension. This shift has been inspirational, uplifting, expansive, and for some, even scary. Note that anything that takes us out of the known and into the unknown may be felt as scary even if it is a wonderful place! With all the astrological movements happening right now each of us is being called to really step into another timeline of our life and begin to live our authentic soul contract that we signed up for this lifetime. That is, instead of repeating the same patterns from our past that keeps us in the same place we are being offered the needed energy and belief in ourselves to create something different.

One of the many astrological movements that has shifted this year are the Lunar Nodes.

The Nodes of the Moon are not planets but rather two mathematical points in the sky (in your birth chart) where the orbit of the sun crosses the orbit of the moon. They are points that connect with the ecliptic. The North part of the ecliptic (where it crosses the North Node of the Moon) is a focal point that touches us very deeply; it is where a Spring-like energy awakens within us! Like the blooming of a beautiful flower, something new bursts into life. All of a sudden we are filled with excitement to do something new. From an astrological point of view the Nodes of the Moon then represent our continuous unfolding evolution.

In relation with transits, the South Node of the Moon represents our past, our comfort zone, the familiar, our compulsive way of living. The North Node on the other hand represents the qualities that we are being called to develop so that we could grow, expand, and create our destiny. The North Node is like our North Star illuminating our way to unfold ourselves into what our soul came here to do.

To step out of the South Node and step into the North Node means stepping into a new unfamiliar territory. This naturally requires conscious effort, persistence, and courage. In this way, we need to release something (South Node) and embrace a new exciting yet unfamiliar aspect within us (North Node).

As we enter 2022 we also step into new waters with the Nodes of the Moon. These have moved from the Gemini/Sagittarius axis and officially entered the Taurus/Scorpio axis on January 18th 2022. These new placements are activating within us a major desire for change that is in connection with these two zodiac signs. Since the Nodes of the Moon change signs about every 18 months, this axis will be activated for all of 2022 and part of 2023!

This shift will not only be felt collectively but individually. Depending on where the Nodes are currently transiting your chart, you will be called to grow in ways that you haven’t before. Old ways will never open new doors. With time and a little bit of courage you will see how much potential you truly have!

• What emotions, fears, or insecurities may come up as we embark on this path?

• How can we embrace this available energy as an opportunity for healing, immense growth, and powerful transformation?

• How can we collectively come together to inspire a more conscious awakened humanity?

Additionally, we will take the time to journal our thoughts, ideas, and insights gained during our discussion. We will finalize our morning with a quiet reflection/meditation.
